Humphreys Peak and the San Francisco Mountain Range are the highest elevation in Arizona 86001 at 12633 ft. A magnificent sight and daunting hike the trail to the top is full of great scenery and difficult trails. Expect significant weather changes and be prepared for anything. At 12000 feet the sun can be brutal all year round so prepare with water and sunblock. Several trails can get you to the top but Doyle Springs is as good a start as any.
